The Breville BKC700XL does not only give you freshly brewed coffee every time, it also allows you to brew different types, blends, roasts, and flavors of coffee. This is because it uses Keurig's K-Cups which come in a very long list of coffee variations, from the exotic to ordinary blends, light to dark roasts, regular to decaf. If your favorite grounds are not available from Keurig, you can purchase the reusable My K-Cups and fill them with your own grounds.
Brewing is quick and easy. You only need to insert a K-Cup into the machine and hit the brew button. Water from the reservoir is sprayed into the K-Cup via a patented showerhead spray at a pre-set temperature and pressure. This is designed to extract the most out of the coffee grounds. The brewing temperature, however, can be customized to suit your tastes. You can even choose from five different brew strengths. These functions are accessed via an LCD control panel.
Although the coffeemaker can make your coffee quickly, if you just can't wait to have your morning jolt, you can use the machine's digital clock to set it to start at a specific time. And just in case you oversleep, it also has an auto off option.
